He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gilbert Lorenz and Virginia L. Lorenz (Smitley); his wife Addie L. Lorenz (Teets); and his brother Charles Lorenz. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Lou Moton (Thomas) of Baker, WV, Virginia Mary "Jenny" Williams (Mark) of Stephens City, VA, Loretta J. "Jeanie" August (Samuel) of Virginia Beach, VA and Johnetta L. Lorenz-Shields (Mark Shields) of Graysville, PA; and his grandchildren, John Moton, Cassandra Williams, Kali Williams, Dillon Lorenz Shields, Jordan August, Michaela August, Kaden Lorenz Shields and Logan Lorenz Shields.
