It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Eugene Whetzel of Mathias, West Virginia, who passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Perry Franklin and Lona Shipe Whetzel; his significant other Lenora Sherman Whetzel; his children, Brenda (Jon Henschel), Sandra (Jeffrey Barr) and Donald (Regena Whetzel); his grandchildren, Ryan (Rachel), Bradley Henschel (Holly), Jessica, Danielle Barr, Rebecca Lynn and Perry Grace Whetzel; his great grandchild Delaney Henschel; his sisters, Glenna (Charlie Rhoads) and Ilene (Bob Nemeth); and his nephew Bruce.
