He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. McClure and Mary L. McGaha McClure; his brothers, Dudley McClure and Richard McClure; and his grandson Quenten J. Strawderman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca McClure of Mathias, WV, Heather McClure of Mathias, WV and Connie McClure of Mt. Airy, MD; his grandchildren, Jesse Strawderman, Daniel Strawderman, Brandon McClure and Josh Proctor; and his siblings, Ethel Leslie of Port Charlotte, FL, Emma Proctor of Glen Burnie, MD, Myra Harmon of Woodbridge, VA, Edward "Eddie" McClure and John Robert McClure. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
