She was predeceased by: her parent Ray E. Cales; her husband Jerry F. Nelson; her grandchild Bobby Nelson; and her stepdaughter Carol Nelson. She is survived by: her parent Nora Jane Weiss; her sons, Tommy F. Nelson of Mathias and Ray Ford (Sharon) of Newton, NC; and her stepchildren, Jerry Nelson (Vanessa) of Fayetteville, WV and Lisa Blankschen (Robert) of Statesville, NC. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
