It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Barath of Matewan, West Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peggy Sullivan and Dan Sullivan of McAndrews Kentucky; her husband Billy Barath, Sr.; her siblings, Albert Sullivan (Myrtle), Billy Sullivan, Lewis Sullivan and Lula Akers (Lou); and her granddaughter Crystal Lea Jude (Barath).
She is survived by: her children, Billy Barath, Jr. (Cindy) of Ragland, WV, Mark Barath (Sherri) of Pikeville, KY and Denise Ann Cochran (Joey) of Cynthiana Kentucky. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and a whole host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
