With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Smith of Matewan, West Virginia, who passed away on June 15, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Smith and Myrtle Picklesimer Smith; her grandparents, Absolam, Matalda Mae Smith, Charlie and Vicie Picklesimer; and her siblings, Lloyd, Jesse, Alfred, Estil Smith, Mary S. Ward, Marie Crouse and Fannie Dotson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Willard Marvin Smith (Shirley), Robert Smith, Jeffrey Michael Smith (Donna), Earlene Stafford (Richard) of Matewan, WV. and Maggie Leanna Smith of Matewan, WV.; and her close friend Shirley Williams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
