He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Pyles and Kathryn Adeline Pyles (Koch). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Pyles (Jenkins); his children, Robert R. Pyles Jr. (Charlene) of Newburg, Timothy J. Pyles (Kristin), Sherrie S. Wawrowski (Timothy) and Alicia L. Smerka (John) of Masontown; and his grandchildren, Avery Shaffer, Destinee, Emily, Brandon, Jennifer Pyles, Danielle Williams, Christina, Tyler and Timothy Wawrowski. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
