He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramie Lawrence Hunter and Zelma Baisden Hunter; and his siblings, Henry (Mary), Harry, Hansel (Carolyn), Hershel "Doc" Hunter, Roberta Harbison (Harley) and Sue Maison.
He is survived by: his wife Kathie Hunter; his daughter Jennie Hunter of Meigs County, OH; his grandchildren, Dakota Carnahan of Alexandria, LA and Maddie Carnahan of Mason, WV; his stepdaughter April Kearns of Los Angeles, CA; his granddaughter Brittany Hammond of Huntington, WV; his brother Homer Hunter of Stony Bottom, WV; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Hunter of Millwood, WV and Elsie Hunter of Vienna, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and many, many friends.
