He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry and Mary Elizabeth Day; and his siblings, Charles Robert "Bobby" Day and Mary Naomi "Nonie" Day Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Freda Delores Day; his son David Day (Bess); his grandchildren, Daniel Day, John Day and Mary Day; his great grandchildren, Brynlee Day and Lincoln Day; and his niece Penny Butler.
