He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Washington and Mary Drayton Washington; and his sister Julia Washington. He is survived by: his children, Gina Washington, Shawn Holmes and Duane Holmes (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Jordan Holmes, Natalia Holmes, Raquel Holmes and Trace Holmes; his sisters, Marie White and Rosa Hawkins of Buffalo, NY; his caregiver Joanie Washington; his mother-in-law Doris Smith; his siblings-in-law, Robin Bounds, Mary Weaver, Nonnie Smith, Carolyn Smith, Paul Smith and Herman Bounds; and his friends, Bill Adams, Elmo Gano and Steve Robinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Chapel of Brown Funeral Homes (114 N Mildred St, Ranson, WV 25438).
