He was predeceased by: his parents, James Francis Sowers and Mary Ellen Robinson Sowers; his wife Marie Sowers; and his siblings, James Joseph Sowers, Marie Osbourn and Phyllis Howell.
He is survived by: his children, P. Frank Sowers (Carrie), Linda Brown (Marvin), Mary Ann Jacobs (Harry), Connie Frick and Debbie Boor (Dwayne); his niece Joann Sowers; his grandson Chris Brown; and his siblings, Anna Albright, Rosie Houser, Jean Kisner, Nora Porterfield, Patricia Bowling and C. Thomas Sowers (Becky). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (327 W King St, Martinsburg, WV 25401). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (225 S Queen St, Martinsburg, WV 25401).
