With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neil Wayne Newkirk of Martinsburg, West Virginia, born in Hedgesville, West Virginia, who passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Mason Newkirk and Nina Virginia Crim Newkirk; and his sibling Elenor Jean Barrow. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Diane Bishop Lynn; his brother Curtis Ellis Newkirk; his daughter Beverly Diane Frantz of Williamsburg, VA; his grandchildren, Ashley Bowman of Williamsburg, VA, Justin Pitzer of Martinsburg and Christine Frantz of Charlotte, NC.; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Bowman, Kenley Bowman and Avery Pitzer.
