He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Shafer (Timmons); his daughters, Jessica Way (Rob) and Kassi Shafer (Howard); his stepson Curtis Bass (Brittany); his grandchildren, Tanner, Treyton, Bentley, Alianna, Savannah and Carson; and his siblings, Crawford "Crock" Shafer (Patti), Penny Shafer, Lisa Shafer Blackshire, Loretta Pauley (Keith) and Darcia Painter (Mark).
