She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shanton and Dorothy Jett; her siblings, Dorothy (Peachie), George, Chucky, Charles and Victor; and her stepson Kevin Morrison.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar Morrison; her children, Jackie Ballard, Luciana Stewart, James and Greg Ballard; her grandchildren, Tameika, Shawayna, James, Devonte, Jasmine, Korin, Aaliyah and Arianna; and her siblings, Lorraine Johnson, Juanita Banton, Roy Shanton, David Shanton and Raymond Hamilton. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and hosts of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (327 W King St, Martinsburg, WV 25401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
