He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Shade and Betty Shearer (Raymond). He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Shade, Richard Pearrell (Charles Harris), Brian Pearrell (Peggy), Betty Schaumleffel (Jay) and Barbara Brunner (Paul); and his children, Michele Angelos (Thomas), Dwayne Shade (Angel), Devin Shade and Kevin Shade, Jr.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that memorial.
