He is survived by: his parents, Martin Shifflett and Elsie Geer Shifflett; his wife Bernice Weakley Shifflett; his children, Gary Shifflett, Steve Shifflett, Ronnie Shifflett, Jeff Shifflett, John Shifflett, Jr., Chris Shifflett, Linda Mondragon, Connie Mason, Wanda Barrett, Kathy Minghini, Lisa Hickerson and Tina Dawson; and his brother Lee Shifflett. He is also survived by grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
