With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Wallen of Martinsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora James Wallen and Maxine Clara Roark; her sister Janet Simione of Delaware; and her son Dean Heck. She is survived by: her children, Steve J. Holiskey of Martinsburg, James "Dusty" Holiskey (Tina) of Bunker Hill and Maxine Householder (Eric); her granddaughter Charlene Pitman; her brothers, Mark Wallen (Janet) of Newark and Gary Wallen of California; and her close friend Earl H. McCormick.
