It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Smith of Martinsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Stelmack and Josephine Chager Stelmack; her husband Richard David Smith, Sr.; her children, Charles D. Smith, Michael W. Smith, Richard D. Smith, Jr., Vickie L. Lamp, Rebecca J. Mickelinc, Beverly A. Smith, Barbara G. Smith, Pamela S. Smith and Cynthia K. Smith; and her sister Jane Heflin.
She is survived by: her children, James R. Smith of Hedgesville, Steven C. Smith, Connie J. Beavers of Martinsburg, Cathy L. Grimm of Pa, Lisa D. Hutzler of Gerrardstown, Anita Thompson of Inwood and Judy Rae Smith of Inwood. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
