He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Westley Kees and Ethel Wilt of Virginia; his wife Anna Mae Creamer Kees; his son Thomas Harold Kees; and his siblings, Betty Shackelford and Milliard Kees (Buck).
He is survived by: his children, Donald Lee Kees (Sheila) and Joyce Albert (Lester); his siblings, Wanda Lee McGowan, James Westley Kees and Debbie Myers; his grandchildren, Kenny Albert, Nathan Albert (Crystal), Justin Albert, Trisha Kees Ginley (Connor) and Kristal Kees Triggs (Matt); his great grandchildren, Weston Albert, Shay Albert, Bella Albert, Ross Albert, Brandon Albert, Rauri Ginely, Grayson Triggs and Jaxon Triggs; and his great great grandchild Weslyn Albert.
