He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn I. Oldfield; his children, Wendy L. Lanham (Charles) of Berkeley Springs and Scot E. Hagerthey (Karen) of Washington, DC; his sister Ruth A. Rubinfine of Martinsburg; his grandchildren, Melissa P. Copenhaver (Joseph) of Hagerstown, Maryland and Gavin R. Hagerthey of Washington, DC; and his great grandchildren, Addison and Maeve of Hagerstown.
