Catherine Frances Whitmore Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2024, at the age of 93, Catherine Frances Whitmore of Martinsburg, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Ponton, Sr. and Margaret Britt Ponton; her husband Wayne L. Whitmore; her son Dean K. Whitmore; her siblings, Charles, George, Jr., Donald Ponton (Kenny) and Vivian Timberlake Hollis; and her sister-in-law Lou Ann Ponton.
She is survived by: her son Ronald K. Whitmore (Joette) of Bellevue, KY; her grandchildren, Katie Avery of East Berlin, PA and Kevin Whitmore of Allentown, PA; and her sister-in-law Irene Ponton. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
