She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Herman Jackson and Bertha Jackson of Erwin; and her son Paul Stephen Avery. She is survived by: her sons, Ted Jefferson Avery Junior of Sykesville and Scott Elbert Avery of Ocean City; her husband Dean Cook; her daughter-in-law Terry; her granddaughter Kayla (Mitch); and her great grandchild Aubree.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant View Memory Gardens (2938 Charles Town Rd, Martinsburg, WV 25401).
