He was predeceased by: his father Arnold Jackson "Jack" Cowger; and his daughter Alexa "Lexie" Cowger. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Cowger; his son Arnold "Jackson" Cowger, II; his stepsons, Michael J. Howe and Christopher Howe; his grandson Evan Howe; his son-in-law Mark Weeks; and his sister Helen Humphrey (Mike).
