It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Toni Gale Penix in Marmet, West Virginia, born in Madison, West Virginia, who passed away on March 3, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Livingston and Kathryn Jeanette Miller Hodges; her uncle Harry Lee Miller; and her aunt Elza Jo Hodges Halsted. She is survived by: her son David Livingston Penix of Charleston, WV; her sisters, Christy Lynn Hodges Kennedy (Steve) and Penny Lee Hodges Jarrell (Greg); her nephew Chris Paul Ritchie (Lindsey); her nieces, Kelli Lee Jarrell Robinson (Jacob) and Katherine Lee Jarrell McEldowney (Joseph); her aunt Laverne Miller; and her uncle Jennings Miller (Ruth).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage her friends and family to purchase or donate a book to a child in her honor.
