He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McDerment and Janet Tyler McDerment; his brother Walter P. "Bubby" McDerment Jr.; his grandparents, Lakin, Inza Adkins McDerment, Elvie "Slim" and Virginia Young Tyler; and his aunts and uncles, Lillian Carris Crowfoot, Jewel McDerment, Vera Pritchett, Della Gill (Lucky), Patty Tyler Dangerfield, Tommy, Lonnie and Elvie Paul Tyler.
He is survived by: his sisters, Inza Hapney (John) of Sylvester, Tresa Cantley (Kevin) of Comfort and Milisa Ball (Terry) of Ashford; his nieces and nephews, Walter P. McDerment III, Ashley, Amy, Tabatha, Travis, Wayne, Ben, Hannah and Kevin Ryan; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madi, Kaitlin, Maytasha, Logan, Brayden, Cameron, Grayson, Randall, Alexa, Collin, Kinsley, Connor, Jax, Christa, Lynnlee, Abel, Ray and Kaden; his friends, Patricia Jarboe, Ronald Crose and Jodi Bobbit; and his grandchildren, Violet Hager, Jerry Turner, Rita Javins, Paul and Rose Perry.
