He is survived by: his close friend Melissa Shelton of Marmet; his children, Breanna Shelton (Brandyn Johnson) of Hernshaw, Leigh Messer (Adam) of Van, Ricky Holstein of Dunbar and Robbie McCleese of Boomer; and his brother Duke Eugene McCleese of Hernshaw.
