She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Hamrick; her parents, Junior Carpenter and Lillian Cummings Carpenter; and her sister Vickie Truman. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Ranea Elmore (Montana) of Bigfork, John Wayne "Butch" Murray of Charleston, Christopher Todd Murray of Charleston and Jacob Elmore of Loudendale; and her grandchild C. J. Murray.
