Leon Peal Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leon Peal of Marmet, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Carol Smith Peal; his son Leon Peal Jr.; his parents, Ira Peal and Ina Fontalbert Peal; and his siblings, Ronald, Rayburn "Bo" Peal, Phyllis Morris, Nancy Field, Reba Carroll and Norma Lomax.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Leigh Watson (John) of Marmet and Shirley Jane Craddock of Charleston; his grandson Brandon Craddock; his great grandchild Isabelle Leigh Craddock; his nieces, Jenny Carr and Audra Crider; his nephew Michael Halstead; his friends, Denise Brown-Facemyre and Barb O'Dell; and his pets, Paige and Linus. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Leonard Johnson Funeral Home (8706 California Ave, Marmet, WV 25315). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
