He was predeceased by: his close friend Barbara Sparkman; his mother Linda Mae Stover; his brother Robert Stover; and his nephews, Brandon Lee Brown and Brennon Kirk.
He is survived by: his father Johnnie Ray; his stepmother Drema Stover of Whitesville; his brother Jackie Ray Stover of Whitesville; his half-sister Samantha Stanley (Steven); and also, Josh Brown of Eskdale and Jenny Mae Kirk (Joshua).
