It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jared Patrick Tardy of Marmet, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William E. "Kernel", Lona Tardy of Marmet, WV, Carl Adams of Ohley, WV and Patricia A. Garrett of Weirton, WV; and his great-grandparents, Rev. Leonard G. and Juanita Adams of Ohley, WV..

He is survived by: his daughter Alexis R. Tardy; his parents, Bill "Snookie" Tardy of Marmet, WV and Terri J. Thornton (Danny) of Red House, WV; his brothers, Jason R. Tardy (Melissa) of Chapin, SC and Jeremy S. Tardy (Danielle) of Paducah, KY; his nieces and nephews, Jaxon, Levi, Jack, Charlotte and Emily; and his close friend Ruby Stalnaker of Greenup, KY. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is mandated by the Governor and the CDC that proper facial coverings be worn and that social distancing be observed.
