He is survived by: his wife Jeanette May Holderby of Chesapeake; his sons, Opie Holderby (Erin) of Gallagher, Joseph Holderby of Chesapeake and Nicholas Thomas of Chesapeake; his siblings, Jackie Holderby (Genevieve), Clay Holderby, Terrence Holderby, Barbara Shreve (Benjamin) and Patricia Schaffer; and his grandchildren, Austin, Abigail, Maddie Holderby, Trenton Tawney, Julianna, Colton Gardener and Phoenix Lilly.
