It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Thompson of Marmet, West Virginia, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack K. Thompson; her parents, Elmo Grant and Hazel Lunsford Grant; and her brothers, Bobby Grant, Elmo "Bud" Grant and William Grant.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie R. Thompson (Carol) of Seth, WV, Jesse A. Thompson (Eva) of Ashford, WV and Gilda Sue Thompson of Charleston, WV; her brother Charles Grant of Rockingham, NC; and her grandchildren, Mark Thompson (Ronda) of Nashville, TN, Misty Norris (Jeff) of Nashville, TN, Fred Malone (Angie) of Bridgeport, WV, Matt Malone (Kathy) of Poca, WV, Jill Touzani of Tuscaloosa, AL, Brigitte Carney (Luke) of Red House, WV, Kelly Thompson of Hurricane, WV and Jessica Hill (Jerry) of Scott Depot, WV. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
