He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Max" and Delsie Workman Davis; his sister Brenda Rees; and his nephew Basil "B. J.". He is survived by: his siblings, Basil Workman (Connie), James Davis (Ann), Anna Dorsey (Fred), Linda Hitchcock (Mark), Linda Jividen and Ruby Gayle Poindexter; and his close friends, Jimmy Curry, Doug and Janet Wiseman. He is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
