It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Humphrey of Marmet, West Virginia, born in Kayford, West Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Olaf Humphrey and Mary Bridges; his siblings, Robert Payne, Lucian Bridges, Cora Shade, Freda Mangus, Betty Payne and Sherlene France; his parents-in-law, John McPhail (Joyce), William McPhail (Peggy), Robert McPhail and Sue McPhail; his nephew CJ Castle; his wife Agnes Humphrey of Marmet; his children, Betty Humphrey and Charles Humphrey II (Sharon) of Marmet; his parents-in-law, George Shade, Margaret Payne, David McPhail (Brenda), James McPhail (Barbara), Janet McPhail and Tucker McPhail; his grandchildren, Annie, Jeremy, Tucker and Harley; and his niece Bobbie Jo. He was also cherished by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, & many nieces, nephews & pets.
