He is survived by: his wife Reba Crist Hughey of Chesapeake; his children, Jewell Hughey of Columbus, OH, Charles W. "Bussy" Hughey (Kim) of Boone County and Gregory Hughey of Chesapeake; his siblings, Jimmy Hughey (Janice) and Nola Davis (family: Carol O'Dell); his siblings-in-law, Juanita Hughey and Guy Crist; his grandchildren, Ashlee R. "Purdys" Hull (Justin Schaefer), Charles Anthony Hughey, Paula Hughey Webb, Jacob Hughey, Caleb Hughey, Honorary and Logan Thomas (Megan); and his great grandchild Piper Webb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and every many other extended family.
