He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lovejoy Smith of Dry Branch; his children, Bernard Lee Smith Jr. (Barbara) and Gina Dortch (Jerry); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Katherine Roberts of Chicago, IL and Keely Shea Smith of Chicago, IL; and his brothers, Charles Eugene Smith of Cabin Creek and Mitchell Ray Smith (Pam) of New River.
