He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marjorie Mabe Dillon and Alvin; his grandmother Ona Mabe; his mother-in-law Thelma Emogene Newhouse Hall; his sons, Cecil and David Newhouse; his sister Edna Cottrill Martin; his nephew James Alvin "Sonny" Cottrill; his daughters, Linda Pauley, Frances Todd and Brenda Taylor; his half-sisters, Maxine Helen Miller Robinson and Virginia Miller Mann; and also, Allen Shaffer and Roger Gogus.
