She was predeceased by: her husband William H. "Ducky" Mellott Sr.; her daughter Tena Kaye Anderson; her brother Kenneth E. Long; her parents, Shelby Jean and Roger G. Long Sr. of Romney, WV.; and her grandparents, Walter D., Tina Marie Long of Morgantown, WV, Elmer J. and Dorcas Catherine Ridenour of Hampshire County, WV..
She is survived by: her friends, John Rosenberry, Billy Singleton and Haggerty; her daughter Rachel Catherine Long of Buckhannon, WV; her sister Rhonda Kaye; her brother-in-law Jeffrey Edmond of Buckhannon, WV; and her brothers, Roger G. Long Jr. of Capon Bridge, WV, Walter R. Long Sr. (Kelly) of Winchester, VA and Joseph L. Long of Buckhannon, WV. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
