She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Waugh; her husband Robert "Pete" Lee McCarty; her daughter Vickie McCarty; and her brothers, Marvin and Lee Waugh.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Puffenbarger (Tom) of Marlinton, Debbie McCarty of Marlinton, Rick McCarty (Jennifer) of Marlinton and Steve McCarty (Faye) of Green Bank; and her grandchildren, Travis (Missy Price), Tim (Pam Price), Crystal (John Ervine), Stephen (Ashley McCarty), Shaun McCarty, Violet McComb, Katlyn Ryder and Cole Ryder. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lantz Funeral Home - Buckeye (16792 Seneca Trail, Buckeye, WV 24924). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
