He was predeceased by: his parents, George Miller and Grace Shearer Miller; and his sister Sharon Miller. He is survived by: his close friend Rose Birchfield; his son Keith Ryder of Ok; his siblings, Karen "Birdie" Underwood (Dean), Tom Miller (Janice) and Mike Miller of Buckeye; his grandchildren, Logan Ryder and Kaitlynn Ryder; his niece Jennifer Barlow; and his nephews, Justin Underwood and Michael "Bud" Miller. He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
