He was predeceased by: his parent Guy Ulysses Thomas; and his siblings, Alfred Thomas, James Harold "Raddy" Thomas and Gladys Moore. He is survived by: his parent Effie Opal Thomas (Weiford); his spouse Dorothy Louise Smith Thomas; his daughter Ellen Galford of Marlinton; his sister Maxine Harper of Marlinton, WV; and his grandson Joseph Donald Galford.
