Thomas Joseph Cappiello Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Joseph Cappiello of Mannington, West Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cappiello and Rosa Cappiello (Nicollette); and his siblings, James, Bennie, Jerry Cappiello, Kathryn Rose Cappiello, Josephine Cappiello, Alveda Cappiello, Helen Mae Davis, Rosalie Keener, Diane Gibbs and Mary Julia Cottrill.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Cappiello (Linville); his brother John Cappiello; his daughters, Jackie Swisher (Cappiello) and Tracy Slaughter; his grandchildren, Tyler Cappiello, Mickey Swisher (Apryl), Mickaylea Swisher (Justin), Savannah Marine (Jerry), Zach Blevins, Bryar Blevins, Dezeray Collins, Shaylah Slaughter, Michael Sidney, Anthony Pelkey, Landon Blankenship and Carly Blankenship; and his great grandchildren, Remington, Kinlyn, Emzlea, Maylea, Ruger, Jenson, Emerson, Oakley, Everlea, Atalea, Thea, Cambree, Mavrick, Sebastian, Oliver, Kayson and Barret. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dorsey Funeral Home (701 S Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery (1359 S Pike St, Shinnston, WV 26431).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston to assist with funeral costs.
