He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Dale and Dorothy Mae Cunningham Tinney. He is survived by: his wife Helena "Helen" Elizabeth Hassan Tinney; his children, Russell Ray Tinney II of Mannington, Tracy of Mannington, Lisa Renee Moore of Mannington and Shawn Michael Tinney of Savannah, GA; his grandchildren, Colten, Thea, Mariah, Alexis, Amber, Ashley and Jessica; and his sister Karen Ash.
