He was predeceased by: his parents, Dawes Fluharty and Marquitta Longstreth Banick Fluharty; his stepfather Joe Banick; his daughter Tonya Fluharty Brand; his sister Sierra Sue Fluharty; and his great grandchild Ember Sage Sands.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Harvey Fluharty; his brother Rick Fluharty; his children, Chanell Sands (Tom), Shannon Gillespie (Jay), Adam Fluharty (Autumn) and Chip Rogers (Misty); his grandchildren, Zachary Sands (Elsie), Cassidy Barnett (Jacob), Sydney Sands, Taylor Long (Kyle), Cory Gillespie, Makenna Rogers, Hunter Rogers, Thomas Fredrick, Katie Rouse (Tyler), Cody Brand, Abbie Brand, Xander Brand, Kolton Fluharty and Kamdin Fluharty; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Long, Kyran Long, Owen Sands, Haislee Sands, Hudson Barnett, Hendrix Barnett, Noah Fredrick and Olivia Fredrick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Hutson Funeral Home (500 E Main St, Mannington, WV 26582). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Wv National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warriors.
