He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Thorne and N. Louise Thorne; and his brothers, William Thorn (Bill), Lewis Thorne (Pete) and Robert Thorne (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Thorne; his children, Jeff Thorne (Kim), Perry Thorne Jr. (Tammy), Nancy Efaw and Lynn Thorne; his grandchildren, Kristy Moore (Eric), Brandon Efaw (Meagan), Amanda Simmons (Marc), Eric Efaw, Kayla Haddox (Ryan), Tyler Thorne (Lindsey) and Cole Dunigan; his great grandchildren, Zaraya, Kayson, Ella, Lynlee, Jude, Brie, Logan, Brady and Harlee; and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Thorne and Ann Thorn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Master's Funeral Home (209 E Main St, Mannington, WV 26582). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at the Huey/Thorne Cemetery.
