She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Mayfield and Alma Mayfield; her husband Melvin "Spankie" Hayes; her daughter Susan Hayes; her granddaughter Tracy Burton; and her siblings, Harry Mayfield and Martha Burge.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Hayes (Joy) of Florida, Carolyn Hayes (Greg) of Mannington, Cindy Richmond (Donnie) of Mannington, Alma Burton (Bub) of Mannington, Nancy Milas (Tom) of Kentucky, Darlene Mitchell (JR) of Metz, Beverly Decker of Fairmont and Patricia Ornduff of Metz; and her niece Jeanette Hayes. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
