It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Arlene Sprouse of Mannington, West Virginia, born in West Union, West Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Junior Hart and Audra Delores Leggett Hart; her husband James Jackson Sprouse; her siblings, Donna Sandy, Timothy Hart, Larry Hart and Ralph Hart; and her stepsisters, Connie Sandy and Brenda Sandy.
She is survived by: her children, James A. Sprouse (Leann Hostuttler) of Mannington and Kimberly Sprouse of Mannington; her siblings, Jean Hart of Nutter Fort, Michael Hart (Dora) of Bridgeport and Phillip Hart (Dorothy Sandy) of Bridgeport; her stepsiblings, Janie Sandy, Davie Sandy and Denny Sandy (Myra); and her half-brother Roger Dale Leggett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Home (124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her care fund set up through Davis Funeral Home.
