With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lloyd Covey of Mannington, West Virginia, born in Fairmont, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 29, 2024 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Covey and Mary Elizabeth Gray Covey; his wife Diane Cain; and his brother Bill Covey. He is survived by: his sons, Shane Covey of California and Billy Covey of North Carolina; his brothers, Ronald R. Covey of Mannington and Jerry Owen Covey; and his mother-in-law Janet Sue Cain of Mannington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
