It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Marie Elder of Mannington, West Virginia, born in Everett, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lohnes and Hilda Winsor Rackley; her husband Lorin James "Skip" Elder, Jr.; her granddaughter Shawna Hardman; and her nephew Jon Guirgus.
She is survived by: her children, Aimee Cummings (Michael) and Tim Elder (Wendy); her grandchildren, Miranda (Matthew Gump), Roger Cummings, Amanda and Morgan Elder; her granddaughter-in-law Becca; her great grandchildren, Elias Cummings, Madelyne and Mason Gump; her sister Judith Todd; and her nieces and nephews, Tracy Elder, Mickie Elder Streets, Doug Elder and Camilla Duarte.
A reception was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hutson Funeral Home (500 E Main St, Mannington, WV 26582).
