He is survived by: his daughter Miracle (James Wyatt); his brothers, Charles, Cecil and Lonnie Simons (Shy); his siblings-in-law, Butch Slater (Debbie), Danny Slater (Katie), Mark Slater (Alice), Connie Sayre (Larry), Kathy Lowe, Cindy Slater, Toinetta Ledsome (Harry), Tammy and Patty Slater; his nephew Jeffrey Slater; his uncle Bishop Cecil; his aunt Carolyn Shaffer; and his foster brother Jerry Garrett. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces.
